I am presently 50 years old. I was born on May 17th, 1956 in Chicago. I have had a facination with Amateur Radio, communications, electronics, and computers since I was a young child. My passion grew as each year of my life passed. My current call sign is AB9MZ (Formerly N9NNO). I hold an extra class Amateur Radio license. Please visit my Amateur Radio pages. Yes, I know I need to update my QSL card and picture featured above to reflect my new call sign. I am also a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 3-8. I have been active in scouting most of my life. Presently I am with Scout Troup 385 in Tinley Park, IL. I am also a Merit Badge Councelor for Radio, Communications, Computers, and Entrepreneurship Merit badges. I accept scouts for these merit badges from any troup, district, or council. I started RICIS my computer security consulting company in 1974. It was incorporated in the State of Illinois in February 1987. In 1989 we began implementing Internet Email and file transfer applications. By late 1993 we started working with gopher and other text based Internet applications. We developed our first three commercial web sites by the fall of 1994. RICIS has primarily focused on delivering secure technology based buisness solutions since it's inception. Since 1994 our focus has shifted primarily to focus on Internet and infrastructure security. We have over a decade of experience with Linux and support all popular distributions. In 1999 Mike Webb and I started C.O.P.S. Inc. was a portal for law enforcement and has the best patch trading facility on the Internet.
